New asthma home visit program:
Robin announced that she will no longer be performing any home visits, but is referring to the Public Health Nurses at the Marion County Public Health Department. All Nurses are able to note in charts in Insight, which is an EMR program that is used by staff for data on clients.
Robin reported that she is still providing training to the Head Start parents and is raffling off cleaning supplies that the EPA has donated to the Asthma program.
Robin is in search of someone to manage the AAI website. If you would like to donate time to this please contact Robin via e-mail or phone.
Treat the Streets:
Robin reported that she is training the staff of the Treat the Streets program which consists of several EMT’s in Marion County.
It was asked if anyone has heard of any known asthma trigger. No one seemed to know of any.
Around the Room:
An invitation was given for the October 21, 2015 INJAC quarterly meeting at 615 N. Alabama. The meeting will begin at 8:30am.
